Flemish altarpiece masterwork part-restored to former glory
GHENT, Belgium (Reuters) - Scientists and art historians in Belgium on Wednesday finished the first restoration stage of one of the most important pieces of early Renaissance art: the Van Eyck brothers' altarpiece in Ghent.
